UK installer wins partner status with access control specialist

OXFORD, UK—A UK security systems designer and installation firm with offices here and in Southampton and Bournemouth has achieved partner status with a major access control manufacturer’s dealer and installation network.

The appointment of Chris Lewis Fire & Security as a member of the Spain-based access control specialist Salto’s Inspired Business Partner network will see Chris Lewis work with Salto to further develop the Salto brand in the UK.

In addition to supplying and installing the full range of Salto products to its clients, Chris Lewis Fire & Security will now also provide product training and field support for Salto technology.

“We only select the best and work with companies who enhance our access solution portfolio,” Salto Systems UK sales manager Ramesh Gurdev said in a statement. “Chris Lewis Fire & Security has a long history of providing quality, innovative and robust security solutions and their appointment to IBP status will make them an attractive proposition to Salto customers.”

According to Chris Lewis, managing director at Chris Lewis Fire & Security, the formal partnership with Salto stems from a history of successful cooperation. “This endorsement is the result of a growing number of major projects where we have worked closely with Salto on access control installations,” said Lewis. “As a business, we look to provide our engineering teams with first-class training and development opportunities, and our strengthened relationship with Salto supports this focus by providing greater access to their staff and resources.”
