MÉRIDA, Spain—Instituto Ferial de Mérida (IFEME), a new state-of-the-art exhibition center here, has installed Bosch’s Praesideo Voice Evacuation and Public Address System across all of the facility’s buildings.

The exhibition center comprises halls with various acoustic characteristics, which Bosch engineers took into account when designing the system. The system includes the company’s new hemi-directional loudspeakers, which are especially designed for spaces with high ceilings.

The Bosch system is applicable for dual use in that it not only has a voice evacuation system that meets the EN 60849 certification standard, but can also reproduce high-quality speech and music for cultural or other activities that may take place at IFEME and require that level of sound reproduction.
