TSSI looks to sign on installers for biometric access control
BIRMINGHAM--Document and personal identity specialist TSSI announced at IFSEC Monday that it is looking to recruit installers in order to meet strong growth in the biometric entry systems field.

The company is in the process of building a UK-wide network of certified installers. The concerted recruitment effort follows the addition of nine UK installers over the past 12 months.

Customers are increasingly recognizing that "relying on utilizing personal identity is a pragmatic solution to access control," said TSSI's COO, Stewart Hefferman.

Installers have to complete a training and certification program to become a TSSI certified partner. Recent new additions to the company's stable of installers include Biometric Entry Systems, CTS Group, Infralink, Vistec Systems and White Electrical Services.

TSSI develops, manufactures and markets a range of fingerprint readers and OEM solutions for biometric security, including its Verid+ range of fingerprint readers and a suite of software options that provide installers with the basis for a cost-effective biometric entry system.
