FRANKFURT--French perimeter protection specialist Sorhea has announced that it has opened a new office here to target the growing German market.
The office, which is headed by Marc Sattler, is also supported with a sales manager who will be available to travel across the country to meet clients and present Sorhea technology to prospective partners.
STORY CONTINUES BELOWAdvertisement The central location of the new office was chosen with the idea of making it easy for Sorhea to support installers in terms of on-site planning or configuration.
Sorhea focuses on infrared barrier technology as well as dual technology barriers and detectors that deploy PIR sensors with microwave antenna and Doppler effect technology.
Sorhea expect its expansion on the German market to be boosted by the fact that several of the company's products have already won approval by Germany's VdS, which is a unit of the German Insurance Association, according to Sattler.
The opening of the new German office is taking place in concert with Sorhea's strategy of building an international network of partners through the establishment of local competence centers. This network is composed of installers and distributors that "become our relay in their country and allow us to provide every customer with the best attention," the company said in a statement.
Sorhea's solutions are deployed across a variety of applications, including critical infrastructure sites such as nuclear plants, industrial installations, airports, parking lots, temporary locations like construction sites and also residential perimeter protection.
