New Norbain supplier puts the joystick back in Bosch products
READING, UK--Security products distributor Norbain has brought in custom-built IT peripherals specialist Electrone Europe to provide an new solution for one of its key partners, Bosch Security Systems, which allows the addition of a joystick control for Bosch systems.

"There has simply been no way of attaching a joystick to the Bosch systems until now," Electrone Europe's Stuart Thorn said in a statement.

The Electrone System200 Joystick has been specially designed to emulate a mouse, and works exclusively alongside the Bosch DiBos family of DVRs. The USB-based model lets CCTV systems that use a mouse to implement a legacy joystick controller, offering greater control and eliminating the need for total operator retraining.

The System200 range also includes units with up to 30 programmable keys and either USB or IP network connectivity and 8 re-legendable buttons around the joystick base as an option. A jog shuttle features lets operators move between frames with a high leve of precision in video editing environments. In addition, a two-line LCD display offers bi-directional communication and specific commands to be issued directly to the operator without interrupting what is displayed on any monitor.
